Roger Binny, KSCA names players alleged in KPL dirty-deeds

KSCA bars its managing committee member Sudhindra P Shinde from all cricketing activities, who was questioned and arrested for his alleged involvement in the KPL betting/match-fixing scandal. Roger Binny, the former Indian Allrounder, who is the KSCA president stated:

โ€œS.P Shinde had been arrested and questioned by the investigating authorities regarding his alleged involvement in the KPL related activities prior to his becoming a managing committee member. KSCA for the first time made the players and coaches name official who has been named in the dirty-deeds. The association had last month suspended Belagavi Panthers owner Asfak Ali Thara, who was among the first to be arrested. They have now stated that if he is found guilty of match-fixing/betting, the franchisee will be terminated.

Binny continued

Clinical India makes it 10 on 10 vs the Windies since 2007

Win the toss- win the match, as they say. But, it wasnโ€™t that easy. A hard-fought match, finally ending with Indiaโ€™s Victory, as expected. The target was a little too much, but considering the Windies bowlers, and the solid opening stand from the fabulous duo, it was expectedly a ramp-walk, which was bumped when the middle order failed. Then it boiled down to Kohli and Jadeja, Kohli however fell but after easing out the chase, then came the โ€˜Heroโ€™ Shardul Thakur, who pinned Sheldon Cotrell to the mat, thereby, gifting the Hosts a 10/10 Victory vs the Windies since 2007.

The Chase Master, at it again

Well played Windies, the expected ordinary series was made extra-ordinary, all thanks to the โ€˜Men in Marron.โ€™

Records Tumble as Rohit marches on..
