What does it mean?
You aren’t available to play for your country, you won’t get a contract. You may be anyone, even an MS Dhoni.
While MS Dhoni’s absence from the central contracts doesn’t mean that he can’t play for India, but it does mean that the Captain Cool isn’t in the team management’s plans for the 2020 cricket season. Or, Has MS Dhoni taken a call? He can also be ‘the surprise package’ Virat Kohli has hinted, the last presser.
