Social media was flooded with celebratory tweets and posts from Netizens after former India captain, Sourav Ganguly was unanimously nominated for the position of BCCI President by the Board members. Former India batsman, Brijesh Patel is also set to become the new Chairman of Indian Premier League (IPL). The news broke out late on the 14th of October itself, but officially the date of announcement is on October 23, 2019. As the news broke out, netizens took to Twitter to express their happiness over the appointment of Dada as BCCI President.
