After the news of, The Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) announced that they are awaiting official communication by the BCCI to host IPL 2020. More on this here. The BCCI has reportedly written to the UAE government seeking permission to hold the tournament in UAE and are awaiting the go-ahead.

IPL, which was scheduled to begin in late March 2020 was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Players across the globe were eagerly waiting to play IPL 2020. It is such a piece of great news to all.

*NZ Cricket board will issue No Objection Certificates to each of the six New Zealand players contracted to IPL franchises for this yearโs tournament.
*South Africa Cricket Board will be giving NOC to all the players for taking part in the upcoming IPL from September to November.
*BCCI Sources: IPL 2020 likely to start on September 19 & end on November 8.
*IPL Governing Council to meet this Friday โ July 24th. IPL might start on Sep 19th instead of Sep 26th. Matches will start at 7:30 PM IST/5:00 PM UAE Time.
